Summer Camps
Finding summer activities that will keep your children entertained for more than an hour can be a challenge. In this list you will find a variety of activities from aviation to in-home swimming lessons that will bring a summer of fun.

1. Summer Zoo Camp
The Fort Worth Zoo is hosting a nine-week camp starting June 11 for third through sixth graders. The camp includes crafts, animal visitors and zoo excursions. Registration information can be found here.
2. Fort Worth Botanic Garden "Green Thumb Club" Camp
Beginning June 9, weekly camps let children go behind the scenes of Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Each week is a different theme, and the activities range from taking care of the turtles, koi fish and tarantulas to building solar ovens. To register, call 817.392.5534.
3. Greatest Generation Kids Aviation Day Camp
A one-day unique experience for kids is the Aviation Day Camp available now through July 3. The camp includes a flight in a World War II C47, three tours and a new remote controlled helicopter for the camper. Call 817.659.9249 to register.
4. Fort Worth School of Rock
The School of Rock is offering weekly camps for ages 7 through 18 starting June 9. Musicians of all skill levels who play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals are welcome. Registration can be found here.
5. AquaMobile Swim School
The AquaMobile Swim School provides swimming lessons for children in your home pool. More information can be found here on the AquaMobile website.
6. Children's Courtyard "Way Cool Summer"
"Way Cool Summer" provides weekly themed "mini camps" and several field trips. The weekly themes range from spy camp to music and motion camp. Call 877.693.2612 for more information.
7. Jim Schlossnagle Baseball Camps at TCU
Created for baseball players of all ages and skill levels, this camp is designed to help improve overall performance. Campers will receive instruction from some of the top coaches in the country while playing America's favorite pastime in Lupton Stadium. The first camp starts June 10. 8. Topgolf Summer Academy
Children ages 6 through 12 are welcome to come learn from the professionals at Topgolf. The program will teach everything there is to know about golf in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Registration can be found here.
9. TCU Fashion Week
For students interested in the fashion industry, this camp provides a glimpse into the many different careers fashion has to offer. The camp is July 21-25 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Enrollment information can be found here.
10. iD Game Design and Development for Teens at TCU
Participants ages 13-18 will learn to create design and develop their own games. The program starts June 22. More information can be found here.
