A Fort Worth salon with 17 years behind the sheers will soon be giving Burleson locals new ‘dos.
LUX Machine on Camp Bowie Boulevard will be opening its second shop in The Standard at Chisenhall in Burleson. The mixed-use development is 60,000 square feet on Hidden Creek Parkway right next to the Chisenhall baseball/softball fields. Restaurants, retail fronts, and plenty of outdoor amenities decorate the space.
The Standard at Chisenhall lends itself to what the salon team calls a high-caliber community.
“I’ve been in the same three-mile radius for 22 years. I’ve been wanting grow LUX Machine for a while now, but there was never the right Fort Worth location to grow our established business,” said Gloria Bradfield, owner of LUX Machine and LUX Machine Chisenhall, in a release. The Camp Bowie location includes 14 employees who serve 17,758 guests a year.
The LUX team will host a soft opening for the new Burleson location from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Thursday, Aug. 1, at 279 West Hidden Creek Parkway, Suite 1105. A grand opening celebration for LUX Machine Chisenhall is slated for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 with live music and refreshments, to include catering by Chef Eric O’Connor, co-owner of American Revelry. American Revelry is scheduled to open next door to Lux at Chisenhall later this summer.
LUX Machine requests donations of public school uniforms, underwear, and socks for junior and high school youth to benefit Harvest House of Burleson, which provides resources in basic necessities, spiritual encouragement, education, and care.
