
Need an itinerary for your spring and summer festivities? Fort Worth has a lot going on this festival season. Here are a few dates to mark on your calendar.
Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival
Mar 30 - Apr. 2

Over three days (and nights), craft brewers, chefs and other participants will serve food and wine to festival goers, in part to show the diverse options in the city, and also to support the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for culinary grants and scholarships. VINO-Palooza Wine & Music Festival
April 8, 1 - 5 p.m.

Presented by platinum recording artist Ryan Cabrera, VINO-Palooza is an event in which Fort Worthians can taste-test wine from more than 20 wineries, local distilleries and craft breweries, as well as enjoy live music. Performers include Ryan Key, Nash Overstreet, Son of Stan and others. All proceeds will benefit the Trinity Habitat for Humanity. You must be 21 and over to attend, and the event is rain or shine. MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival
April 20 - 23

The annual MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival showcases nationally-recognized fine art, crafts and performers on the streets of downtown Fort Worth. The festival stretches nine blocks on Main Street from the Tarrant County Courthouse to the Fort Worth Convention Center. More information is available on the festival's website.
F.A.M. Fest
April 22, 12 p.m. - 2 a.m.

The F.A.M. (Food + Art + Music) Fest is a free festival that showcases some of the most talented and creative acts in the area, such as BLACK TAFFY, GOAT - Grades Of Absolute Truth and others. Musicians, contemporary artists, nonprofit organizations and local food vendors will come together for a block party-style event made for everyone in the family, including pets. Fortress Festival
April 29 - 30

Thanks to a new partnership between Fortress Presents and the Modern Arts Museum of Fort Worth, Fort Worth's Cultural District has a new event for your festival calendar. Two outdoor stages will feature internationally-known headliners, as well as a variety of up-and-comers, local bands and other musicians that test the boundaries of genre. Some Fort Worth artists include the Quaker City Night Hawks and The Burning Hotels, sharing the stage with other local and national acts like Run the Jewels, Purity Ring and others. Open Streets
April 30, noon - 4 p.m.

For four hours, Magnolia Avenue and other adjacent streets will close to cars and open to yoga classes, face-painters, food trucks and other attractions for Open Streets. Local businesses and community partners collaborate to put together temporary public art projects, pet adoptions and other activities. The event's attendance has grown to thousands over the past five years. For more information, click here.
Cowtown Conjunto Festival
April 30, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Hosted by the Pancho Pistolas, the annual Cowtown Conjunto Festival is a free event at Billy Bob's that celebrates the Tejano roots of Fort Worth. If you enjoy Spanish tunes, you can find more information here.
Mayfest
May 4 - 7

Produced by Mayfest Inc., this festival has grown to become one of Fort Worth's biggest parties to date. The event features four days of live music, food, carnival rides, free children's activities and more. All proceeds go to Mayfest's founding organizations – The Junior League of Fort Worth, Inc., Streams & Valleys, Inc., and the City of Fort Worth Parks and Community Services. It all takes place on 33 acres at Trinity Park. Tickets can be purchased here.
Fort Worth Taco Fest
May 6, noon - 7 p.m.

El Fuerte (that is, “The Fort” in Spanish) Taco Festival is a full day of food, beer and entertainment in the form of live music, theatrical performances, mariachis and dozens food trucks and restaurants. A fairly new festival celebrating Cinco de Mayo, the event launched last year at the Shack at Panther Island Pavilion and attracted 1,500 people. Tickets can be purchased here.
Index Fort Worth
June 3, noon - midnight

Bringing beer, music, food and art to several cities in Texas, Index Fest will be making its stop in Fort Worth in early June. This newly rebranded festival, which used to be known as Untapped, will also stop in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Ticket information can be found here.
