Aside from salgar, Galentine's Day may be one of Leslie Knope’s greatest inventions. What began in an episode of NBC's "Parks and Recreation" as a day dedicated to recognizing a lady’s platonic female friends has been adopted across the nation as a pseudo-holiday celebrated on Feb. 13 – the eve of Valentine’s Day.
From brunches to board painting and everything in between, here are seven ways to celebrate Galentine's Day in and around Fort Worth.
Beer, Boutiques, and Beauty: A Galentine's Extravaganza
Kick off Galentine's early with an evening of beer, boutiques, and beauty at Panther Island Brewing this Saturday. On top of the craft beer, wine, and kombucha always offered at Panther Island Brewing, there will be giveaways by Crave Medical Spa and great food from Firefly Grilling Co.
When: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m., Feb. 6

The Styled Statement is hosting a sip and shop event featuring live music, local vendors, wine, and a giveaway basket. You can expect to find handcrafted signs, hot cocoa bombs, essential oil blends, cheese boards, dough bowl candles, and other homemade goods.

The Grande Dames of Champagne Tasting or Valentine's Eve Brunch

Board and Brush Galentine's Day BOGO 1/2 Off

Valentine’s Day Ladies Full Auto Brunch
Texas Gun Experience is hosting a Valentine’s Day-themed brunch centered around machine guns and mimosas. After you’ve taken your turn at the shooting range, enjoy a catered brunch with mimosas. Whether you’re a regular Annie Oakley or have never shot a gun before, all levels of firearm experience are welcome.
