Fort Works Art Gallery will host an all-day event featuring art, live music, and community engagement as part of Fort Worth Art Dealers Association (FWADA) Spring Gallery Night on March 29. The event will showcase two major exhibitions, a live musical performance by Wire Nest and a block party at Hotel Dryce.
The gallery will be open from noon to 9 p.m., featuring “Terra and Bloom,” a dual exhibition running through May 31 with works by Kerri Menchaca and Alonsa Guevara, and “Transportation Transformation,” a solo exhibition by Greg Bahr running through April 19.
Menchaca’s work captures Texas landscapes in atmospheric, fleeting beauty, while Guevara’s hyperrealist fruit still lifes explore themes of identity and transformation. Bahr’s exhibition focuses on abstract compositions inspired by daily commutes and movement within urban spaces.
Wire Nest, a Fort Worth-based duo known for its ambient soundscapes, will perform live during the “Terra and Bloom” reception.
Following the gallery exhibitions, the “Block Party” at Hotel Dryce will take place from 6 to 11 p.m., featuring live music, DJ performances, an Artist Alley with local creators, and food trucks.
FWADA Spring Gallery Night is an annual citywide event that highlights Fort Worth’s visual arts community, with galleries, museums, and creative spaces opening their doors to the public.
