Easter weekend is here, and whether you’d like to run a 5K, take some bunny photos, or hunt for Easter eggs — we’ve got you covered with these kid-friendly events happening around town.
Martin Luther King Community Center Drive-Thru Egg Hunt
On Friday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., the MLK Community Center will host its drive-thru Easter egg hunt, handing out Easter eggs and activities to do at home with your family. There will also be a surprise visit from the Easter bunny.
Stockyards Easter Egg Hunt
Participating Stockyards Station and Mule Alley retailers will be giving out free prize-filled Easter eggs on Saturday. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m.
Eggstravaganza at Fort Worth Botanic Garden
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden will be hosting a day full of activities like an Easter egg hunt, stroller and wagon parade, Easter bunny meet-and-greet, and story time. The event will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Be sure to bring your own Easter basket.
Easter Egg Hunt at Berry St. Ice House
On Saturday, enjoy brunch from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., then prepare for egg hunts starting at 1 p.m. Each egg hunt will be divided among three different age groups. Saving Hope Animal Rescue will also be onsite with adoptable dogs.
6th Annual Easter Eggstavaganza in The Park 5K and 10K
RunTIME Racing Services is hosting its race on Saturday. Choose between a 5K, a 10K, and a mile fun run. The mile run begins at 8 a.m. while the other two begin at 8:30 a.m.

Easter Bunny Photos
You can get your yearly Easter family photos done at both Hulen Mall and Tanger Outlets. Both locations are taking pictures until Saturday. Times and reservations for Hulen Mall can be found here. Tanger Outlets accepts walk-ins as space allows, but you can also make a reservation here.
