The Jonas Brothers were never supposed to last this long — at least, that’s what the cynics said. But twenty years later, the trio that started in mall food courts and county fairs is still here, and they’re doing what they do best: making a spectacle of it.
On Sunday, March 23, American Dream mall transformed into a nostalgia-fueled, scream-inducing playground for JonasCon, a full-scale celebration of all things Jonas. Fans packed the venue for an event that felt more like a love letter than a convention — live sets from the Jonas Brothers, their younger sibling Franklin, and early 2000s icons The All-American Rejects. Jonas-themed activities, food, and immersive experiences stretched across the mall, each one meticulously designed to tap into two decades of collective memories.
And, of course, they had news to share. The brothers used the convention as the perfect stage to announce their latest epic endeavor: the JONAS20: LIVING THE DREAM tour, a sweeping, full-circle journey from the malls to the biggest stadiums in the world. The timing was poetic. On March 21, just ahead of the convention, the trio had teased the tour announcement during an exclusive Good Morning America segment. They also unveiled their new single, "Love Me To Heaven"— a track that feels tailor-made for open highways and screaming fans.
“We’re beyond excited to hit the road and celebrate 20 years of music,” the Jonas Brothers shared in a statement. “Our fans have been with us through every chapter, and this tour is our way of honoring them, the memories we’ve made, and the ones we’ll create together. We can’t wait to make this our biggest, most unforgettable tour yet.”
They’re not holding back. Marshmello will join for 10 massive stadium shows, adding his signature high-energy beats to the mix — including his recent collaborations with the brothers. Special guests The All-American Rejects and Boys Like Girls will also jump in on select dates, rounding out a lineup that feels ripped straight from a late-2000s dream.
The build-up to this tour has been meticulously plotted. It all started with a New Year’s Eve performance on “Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve,” where the Jonas Brothers delivered a set that spanned their history: “Sucker” from their 2019 comeback, “Play My Music” from Camp Rock, and a wistful cover of The Cranberries' "Dreams." The next month, they followed up with a heartfelt video montage on social media, announcing a year of new music, surprises, and — of course — a tour.
That post gave fans a brief scare, echoing the ominous tone of their 2013 break-up letter. But relief quickly turned into excitement. This wasn’t an ending — it was a victory lap.
The JONAS20: LIVING THE DREAM tour kicks off at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on Aug. 10, before winding through 43 dates across North America. Texas fans, take note: the band will hit Globe Life Field in Arlington on Aug. 31, Moody Center in Austin on Oct. 17, Frost Bank Center in San Antonio on Oct. 18, and Toyota Center in Houston on Oct. 19.
Each night will be a deep dive into their career, pulling from every era of Jonas — including Nick’s solo work, Joe’s DNCE era, and even deep cuts from Nick Jonas & the Administration. It’s a setlist designed for diehards, packed with the kind of moments that make you remember exactly where you were when you first heard those songs.
