Junior League of Fort Worth
Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market
Remember earlier this year, when Jan. 1 came and went, and we all told our friends, "Next thing you know, it'll be the holidays again"?
Well, in Fort Worth, you know the holidays are just around the corner when the Junior League of Fort Worth's Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market rolls around.
One of the earliest holiday shopping events to occur each year, generally taking place in October, Christmas in Cowtown will set up at the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall at Will Rogers Memorial Center from Oct. 14 – 17. More than 200 merchants from across the country are expected to showcase their wares, ranging from home goods to fashion.
Two separate ticketed events will take place on the first two days of the market — the Boots & Bowties Preview Party on Oct. 13, featuring private shopping, food from Esperanza’s, handcrafted cocktails, and live entertainment, and the City of Culture & the Cowboy Brunch on Oct. 14, which includes two complimentary drinks and early access to the market.
The 2021 event marks Christmas in Cowtown's 15th year raising funds for Junior League of Fort Worth, a group of women who actively volunteer for various organizations throughout the community. According to Junior League, the market has raised more than $5 million. This year's beneficiaries include Alliance for Children, Justin’s Place, Tarrant Area Food Bank, Unbound Fort Worth, Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County, Breakthrough Fort Worth, Community Storehouse, The Welman Project, and Con Mi Madre.
“It’s exciting to be back in person this year for the market,” Megan Granaghan, the 2021 Christmas in Cowtown chair, said in a statement. “After a year filled with hardship and perseverance, it’s time to celebrate the spirit of our Fort Worth community and small businesses.”
