Installation by Emily Mayo
Kinfolk House is back with its fall project, Formation, a set of works from artists who take a lens to Fort Worth’s legacy and history through installation, textiles, and ceramics.
This project includes the works of Emily Mayo, Jenelle Esparza, and Earline Green and the narrative about desire, resilience, faith, and foundation. Mayo has been salvaging burnt pieces of houses from neighborhoods in Flint, Michigan for her installation. Green uses clay and found objects to weave legacies of her family.

"It is hard to believe that we are wrapping up our inaugural year of projects,” says Jessica Fuentes, director of Kinfolk House. “We are thrilled to bring together this trio of strong women artists and to put their work in dialogue with each other."
This project, which runs from Saturday-Nov. 12, brings Kinfolk’s debut year to a close.
