On the heels of the completion of Patrick Dougherty's "Stickwork" sculpture, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is getting ready to welcome another exhibit featuring more works of art made from atypical materials.
"Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects Made with LEGO Bricks" is coming to the garden, showcasing plants and animals that the New York-based artist created out of LEGO bricks. According to the garden, the project is meant to "explore animal endangerment, the balance of ecosystems, and humanity’s relationship with nature."

“The messages in the exhibition about our connection to nature are beautifully presented and effectively weaved into the story in the hopes of inspiring visitors to think more about mankind’s impact on the greater world around us," said Tom Zaller, CEO of Imagine Exhibitions, the exhibit's producer.
The exhibit runs May 6 – Aug. 1. More information about the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is available at fwbg.org.
