Jan Barboglio is one of my absolute favorite designers AND she's going to be at Fort Worth Neiman Marcus THIS THURSDAY visiting with loyal followers of her collection and signing pieces. I'm soooo excited I can hardly wait!!! For years I've been collecting her service ware, and even had several items from her collection on my wedding registery...more than a decade ago. I have truly enjoyed layering her accessories, chaffing dishes, platters and candelabras over the years for various events I have hosted, mixing various themes and genres. Formal, rustic, western, whimsy...you can't go wrong with anything from the Jan Barboglio collection, past or present.
Barboglio and a Rehearsal Dinner
I'm super excited to share a few pictures with you of the reheasal dinner I did for my sister-in-law (Jason's sister) a couple of years ago. We hosted this event at Reata in Fort Worth, a restaurant known for Texas cuisine, on the rooftop. Organic, rustic, natural, and elegant sensations were achieved in the evening incoporating tons of Barboglio with ferns, moss, succulents, and cymbidium orchilds. It was an absolute blast working with Jim Irwin, florist, to pull this look together.
