I'm finally back among the living! Sorry for the wonderfully extended blogging break! You know, it's near impossible to get anything done (like blogging) during the holiday season, especially with kids out of school.
Little did I know, that my very optimistic and solid conversation about posting at least twice a week with Fort Worth, Texas Magazine's owner/publisher Hal Brown, was going to falter.
And so as the holidays were ticking by…I was getting my dining room table ready:
And by the time I got that done, I was doing this:
Oh, yes…we did this too! (family not too thrilled!)
We had fun playing in the very rare Christmas Day snow fall.
And I have been drowning in our hideous four year long renovation on our basement, which is almost wrapped up!
Just yesterday morning, Mauricio with All-Ways Moving came to our house to haul off all of our Christmas stuff and to put it back in storage. Again. For the 4th year. Joy.
To top it all off, I'm just about to start on hundreds of thank you notes for the Joy of Life charity event Jason and I chaired back in November.
