Fort Worth community leaders gathered along the banks of the Trinity River to dedicate the John V. McMillan Plaza and unveiled the Major Ripley Allen Arnold Monument, honoring the founder of Fort Worth. Isiah Edwards, Jr. is a direct descendant of Major Ripley Allen Arnold, the subject of the sculpture.
