The YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County's first-ever “Transforming Lives Luncheon” on March 27, 2014, was a tremendous success. More than 300 guests attended this powerful event, witnessing amazing stories of hope and triumph from the women, children and families who have been transformed by the YWCA – leaving poverty behind forever. The event raised more than $600,000 in gifts and pledges for the YWCA's programs serving homeless and low-income families in our community, an all-time fundraising record for the organization.
