2. Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival Sipping Series
Join the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival on Thursday, Dec. 3rd, for the third in a succession of adult beverage chats and tastings with leading experts. This event, which is a part of an ongoing series put on by the festival, is perfect for both the occasional cocktail consumer or those already experienced in distilling. Many local and regional spirits made by Texas distillers will be available, including Fort Worth’s own Firestone & Robertson and Dulce Vida Tequila.

5. Sundance Square Friday Night Concert Series
Come out to the Sundance Square Plaza for a free concert featuring Gloria and Friends.This concert begins the Friday Night Concert Series, which will offer live concerts each Friday in December in the Plaza. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs and blankets, but please no coolers or outside food or drink. Adult beverages will be for sale on-site.

6. Christmas in the Stockyards
The Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District at Stockyards Station will host its annual Christmas in the Stockyards event on Saturday, December 5 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be on the lawn of the Historical Livestock Exchange Building, inside Stockyards Station and along East Exchange Avenue. This is a free holiday event centered on western heritage activities that the entire family can enjoy.

7. Canoe Tours Presented by the Fort Worth Nature Center
Get a new view of the city in a canoe tour at the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge. Tour a stretch of the West Fork of the Trinity River to view ducks, herons, beaver and other critters. Canoes, paddles and lifejackets are provided. Sunscreen, water and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
