1. Cowtown Goes Green
Head over to the Stockyards to celebrate St. Patrick's Day during Cowtown Goes Green. This family-friendly event is the city's largest St. Patrick's Day celebration. Cowtown Goes Green includes a Western/Irish themed parade, armadillo races, a petting zoo and other free activities your children will enjoy. All activities are free of charge and the event is open to everyone. This celebration will be held from noon-5 p.m. in Stockyards Station.

2. Fort Worth Boat Expo
Warm weather and summer are quickly approaching and that means it's almost time to bring out the boats for some family-friendly recreational activity. The Boat Expo is returning to Fort Worth after an eight-year absence and will be held at the Amon G. Carter-William Rogers Exhibit Hall. Hundreds of 2016 boats and watercrafts will be on display from more than 20 North Texas boat dealers. Attend the Expo on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18 to gain free admission.

3. Flying Saucer St. Paddy's Day Bash
Wear your green and celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the Flying Saucer in Fort Worth with good drinks and food and a live Irish band. They have $3 Boulevard Irish Ales and will be serving up special Irish food such as corned beef and cabbage, fish n' chips and corned beef sandwiches.The Irish band, 5 Second Rule will be performing.

4. Martin House 3rd Anniversary Beer Brunch
Join Martin House Brewing Company as they celebrate their third anniversary at Flying Saucer. Your $20 ticket will include a breakfast buffet, Day Break beermosas, a special anniversary pint glass, all-day drink specials and live music by Ole G starting at noon. The brunch kicks off at 10 a.m. and they claim it will be quite the rager, so you don't want to miss this.

5. Fort Worth, Texas Pin It Expo

The Pin It Expo is bringing together more than 70 vendors with items ranging from handmade jewelry, hand-painted furnishings, clothing, beauty products and more. 6. Horses That Heal Screening and Street Fair
Movie Tavern on West 7th St. will be hosting the premier screening of Horses That Heal, an award-winning documentary about the therapeutic use of horses and the effects they have on improving the lives of the riders. A street fair will be held before the screening and will feature live horses, trick roping, music and more. The street fair is open to everyone, but the screening is first come, first serve.

7. Wade Bowen at Billy Bob's
Wade Bowen will be bringing his country music talent to the stage at Billy Bob's Texas. Wade Bowen is known for popular songs such as "Songs About Trucks" and "Trouble." General admission tickets are $16 and it starts at 10:30 p.m.
