1. Brewfest on Crockett
Take your friends out to West 7th to compete in the 2nd annual Brewfest Games for charity. The games are a part of the 6th annual Brewfest Craft Beer and Music Festival. Teams can pre-register online and get two drink coupons to redeem at the festival and a one-hour playing card for Main Event. The games start at noon and the festival begins at 5 p.m. with live music throughout the night, finishing off with Poo Live Crew, plus craft beer including Deep Ellum Neato Bandito and Community Mosaic. The evening festival is free and you just pay for what you drink.

2. #FAMfest
Shipping & Receiving is holding the first annual #FAMfest this weekend. What is #FAMfest? It is food, art and music. Your favorite eateries and culinary experts will provide food. Top DFW musicians will be performing on two main stages. Local artist will be holding an art show and will participate in the 100 for 100 - 100 artists with at least one piece of art on sale for under $100. You may find yourself going home with a new piece to start an art collection with. The event is free and open to all ages.

3. Japanese Garden Spring Festival
Celebrate the year of the monkey with traditional Japanese dance, martial arts, music, raku, tea ceremonies and more at the two-day festival at the Botanic Gardens. Admission for adults is $8 and members get in for free.

4. One Ale of a Trail
Come on out to the Trinity Trail this Saturday to enjoy some fresh air, stimulating exercise, and good company on a 5 and 10 mile trail run. 5. Tandy Hills BioBlitz
The Tandy Hills Nature Area invites any and all nature lovers and science enthusiasts to spend their Saturday crafting, hiking, learning and discovering new ways to have fun with nature. 6. Air Power Expo
Aviation and air show lovers are in luck because the Air Power Expo is back and featuring the famous Blue Angels. Planes will be on display on the ground and in the air. You have the opportunity to get an autograph from your favorite air show performer. Food and drink stands will be available. The air show and parking are free.

7. America Recycles Day at West 7th
Do you have a lot of old electronics that need to be disposed of? It can be difficult to recycle those goods, but Commodity Recycletx will take away electronics collecting dust so they don't end up in a landfill and damage the environment. They are taking a variety of electronics ranging from small items like batteries and cameras to large items like dryers and dishwashers. An entire list can be found on their event page.
