In Arlington, where the echo of the cowboy spirit is still in earshot from Fort Worth, something truly authentic is being crafted. Molly’s Custom Silver, a once hidden gem nestled away in the world of Western craftsmanship, is quickly becoming the go-to place for bespoke silver and Western accessories. The buzz around this Arlington-based business isn’t just because it’s next to Cowtown. No, there’s something more — something that ties them to one of the world’s biggest pop icons.
“We were already doing pretty well, but it wasn’t until the stars aligned and we hit a little viral moment that things really took off,” says Hannah Cox, marketing director at Molly’s.
The catalyst for this newfound fame? A TikTok video featuring none other than Post Malone, the Grammy-nominated North Texas native who is just as known for his eclectic music as he is for his signature tattoos and love of the Western style.
In October, a superfan of the pop sensation (@postycph) shared a video showing her gifting Post Malone a custom buckle from Molly’s. Clearly impressed and refusing to take something without giving in return, Post Malone then gifted the superfan the buckle he had on. Fast forward two months, and that same superfan, having received another custom buckle from Molly’s, found herself in yet another exchange with the pop star, only this time, he gifted her his entire belt. Malone, ever the showman, took a moment to shout out Molly’s in a video — sending his love to the silversmithing world and calling the buckles “awesome.”
That moment? A game-changer.
“Once Post Malone gave us that shout-out, things really snowballed,” Cox reflects. “We saw a huge increase in business, and not just from the rodeo crowd anymore.”
And Post Malone wasn’t the only pop star to take notice. Shaboozey, an American rapper and upcoming presenter at the 2025 Grammy Awards Ceremony being held on Feb. 2, had his stylist reach out to Molly’s, requesting a custom buckle to wear for the prestigious event. Meanwhile, Quavo, the celebrated rapper known for his work with Migos and his new country-rap collab with Luke Bryan, Teddy Swims, and others, is currently having a custom buckle crafted to mark the occasion of his latest single.
“We’re making waves outside of just the rodeo world,” Cox adds. “Social media, TikTok, and the increasing trend of Western style have helped bring us into the spotlight. The Western look is in right now, and it’s not just for cowboys and rodeo stars anymore.”
Case and point, everyone from supermodel Bella Hadid to rockers like Steven Tyler from Aerosmith have all embraced buckles and chaps as “In” fashion.
This newfound notoriety wasn’t in the plans for this now bustling business located at 1251 W Green Oaks Blvd, Suite 130, in Arlington.

Molly's Custom Silver
It all started when founder and owner Molly — whose last name is still a mystery, made a move from California to Texas in 2019. She had been crafting custom silverwork for years, having grown up fascinated by the silversmithing world, honing her skills, and learning the trade from Cali artisans. But it wasn’t until she and her team packed up and headed to Texas during the COVID era, that the magic really began to unfold.
“We moved our headquarters here a few years ago, and it’s been the best decision we’ve made for the business,” Cox shares. “The Texas roots just made sense. The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is just around the corner, and the culture here is all about that Western spirit.”
At its core, Molly’s is a custom silversmith company, that specializes in belt buckles, but their craft doesn’t end there. From rodeo crowns to intricate saddles, custom spurs to bolo ties, and even a growing collection of leather goods, including saddles and belts, Molly’s is quickly establishing itself as a leading name in Western fashion.
But it’s not just about the products — it’s about the community. Every piece made at Molly’s is hand-crafted by skilled artisans who carry the tradition of silversmithing with a passion and precision that only comes with years of dedication to the craft.
“I’ve seen it firsthand,” Cox explains. “You can tell who made each buckle by the style and the artistry behind it. There’s a true art form to what we do here.”
And while the headquarters may be bustling with marketing and creative teams, the shop itself, a little farther south of Arlington, is where a team of 300 artisans bring each design to life in a space that feels more like a creative haven than a factory.
With Grammy nods and red-carpet appearances on the horizon, it’s clear that the brand is on a path to something even bigger.
“We’ve always known that we’re more than just a belt buckle company,” Cox says. “We’re creating custom pieces that tell a story — pieces that are personal and unique. The fact that people like Post Malone and Quavo want to wear our designs just makes it all feel like a dream come true.”
