Stockyards Ghost Tour
Hosted by Cowtown Winery, this event is a unique cross between pub crawl and ghost tour — yes, for those who don't know, Fort Worth is indeed haunted. With a well-documented history of spooky sounds and sights, experience what goes bump in the stockyards for yourself during this tour held every Thursday at 7 p.m. and every Saturday at 8 p.m. Ticket purchase includes a glass of the winery's award-winning wine to clutch as you move from one fright to the next.
Boo at the Zoo
An obligatory Fort Worth event, don't miss trick-or-treating along the trails of the nationally recognized Fort Worth Zoo Oct. 28-30. The event takes place during standard park hours and includes treat stations where your little ones can collect candy, Halloween-themed entertainment, and of course, animal shows.
Hall's Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze
A sensational rural landscape with all the comfy, Fall feels, take the opportunity this season to stop by Hall's Farm to grab some pumpkins and gourds for carving along with any other season faves. The farm is closed every Monday and Tuesday, except for Halloween, from 3-8 p.m., Wed.- Fri., 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. on Sat., and 1- 8 p.m. on Sun. General admission to the farm gives patrons access to the 2-acre corn maze and covers parking, and attendees will pay extra for a tractor-led hay ride and any additional purchases. The entire event is cash-only.
Cutting Edge Haunted House
It isn't Halloween without willfully scaring yourself to near death at a haunted house and Cutting Edge Haunted Housed off Lancaster Avenue is ready to scare the pants off Fort Worth. The house is open from 8 a.m.- 10 p.m. on Sunday and weekdays and 7- 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Don't miss out on the USA Today-voted Best Haunted House in the Nation.
The 5th Annual Halloween Bar Crawl - Fort Worth
On Oct. 29, Whiskey Garden on West 7th Street is holding its annual Halloween bar crawl with everything you love about a bar crawl. But this time, make sure you're in costume. Check-in for the event is between 4- 6 p.m., and the Garden anticipates hosting more than 500 people this year — a jump from 422 people in 2021. A ticket will get you two free drinks or shots, access to exclusive drink specials and themed cocktails, waived cover charges at venues, food specials at participating venues, a custom Halloween badge, and the first 400 people to check-in will crawl with the US Stadium Cup. The party expects to carry on into the night, with an after-party at KungFu Saloon between 10 pm.- 12 am. Venues participating in the crawl are Whiskey Garden, Junk Punch, KungFu Saloon, Reservoir, Texas Republic, The Yard, and Your Mom's House.
