By Britt Latz
For the past two years, our shelter publication, Fort Worth HOME, has done a special issue around our Design Awards, where we honor the area’s best interior designers.
This past year, for this special publication which we published in December, we mistakenly credited the wrong interior designer with the cover image.
Christine Zeiler Interiors was the designer of the beautiful space that graces the cover of our December issue, which we initially credited to Tori Rubinson Interiors.
This is an inexcusable mistake, especially considering the design elements were jaw-dropping enough to warrant being on our cover. To attribute this to the wrong team/person is an error that rests solely on the shoulders of the editor, and I extend my most sincere apology to Christine Zeiler and Tori Rubinson and all those involved in designing these spaces.
I would also like to apologize to Britt Latz, who took the amazing photograph and, yet, we didn’t credit.
While mistakes do happen, Ms. Zeiler, who has been extremely understanding and patient throughout, reminded me that we at least need to do what we can to make them right. I can only hope that this apology, which registers as no more than a blip on the internet, at least gets me a tiny fraction of the way there. And I will do what I can to make sure such mistakes never happen again.
