Starting on Oct. 1, KitchenAid will launch their “10,000 Cupcakes, One Great Cause” campaign in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. KitchenAid is asking cooks to make their favorite cupcake recipe, post its picture on Twitter or Instagram and use the hashtags #10000cupcakes and #donate. KitchenAid has pledged to donate $1 for every shared cupcake photo with those hashtags during October — up to $10,000 for 10,000 cupcakes.
Expressions Home Gallery is hosting an event benefitting Susan G. Komen in their Southlake showroom on Oct. 24. This event will feature lots of free food, giveaways and product demonstrations. Those who donate to the cause will be entered to win a pink KitchenAid Stand Mixer.
The event will also feature cupcake decorating in support of the social media campaign. So come out to join in 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Oct. 24 to participate in this sweet way to give to this great cause.
