Don’t let the heat turn you away from a summer in the sun. Get yourself a handheld fan and kick back with a cocktail at one of these stellar rooftop bars.
Here is our guide for the best Fort Worth rooftops this summer.
1. Sinclair
You can access the rooftop terrace from the 17th floor and have an incredible view of the city. The bar is open from April through October when rooftop goers can enjoy small bites, cocktails, and desserts on Fridays and Saturdays. Unfortunately, rooftop access is closed on Sundays.
512 Main St.
2. Attico
From the mind of celebrity chef and restaurateur Tim Love, Attico gives Fort Worthians one of Cowtown’s best rooftop experiences. With a plethora of restaurants and other ventures (even a hotel and music venue) in recent months, Love has no doubt been on a hot streak. And the Stockyards’ Attico, which opened in 2019, kind of kick started the chef’s recent renaissance.
2315 N Main St.
3. Reata
While Reata boasts a four-story dining experience, the Southwestern cuisine style restaurant is all about its iconic rooftop. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, as Reata announced earlier this year they will be moving locations in 2024. So, make your reservations ASAP.
310 Houston St.
4. Branch & Bird
One of Fort Worth’s most aptly named restaurants — you can literally feel like a bird on a branch at Branch and Bird — provides a stellar rooftop experience in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. The spot also offers live music on Wednesdays with half-off bottles of wine.
640 Taylor St. 12th floor
5. Tinies
On the second floor of Tinie’s is Escondite, which translates to hideaway. The secluded rooftop bar off of South Main is a dimly lit mezcaleria that pays tribute to similar bars in Mexico City and Fort Worth’s much-missed J & J’s Hideaway.
