Thirty Eight & Vine

Thirty Eight & Vine is a 1440 square-foot tasting room inspired by the look and feel of European cocktail lounges. The venue will offer champagnes and craft beer options to compliment an expansive wine selection of more than 40 international and US rotations, according to Thirty Eight & Vine spokespeople. Food-wise, charcuterie boards from Meyer & Sage will satisfy appetites alongside sweets from Arlington-based Gold Ribbon Confections.
Maple Branch Craft Brewery
2628 Whitmore St.
Expected opening: early 2020
Maple Branch Craft Brewery aims to be a small-batch brewery and beer garden, rotating several kinds of craft beers in a welcoming atmosphere. Their website tells a story of two young entrepreneurs set on "providing kick-ass craft beer and a space for people in all walks of life to unwind and enjoy the little things." Expect collabs with already established brands, too, like a special brew in partnership with Wild Acre Brewing Company.
Tulane's
2708 Weisenberger St.
Expected opening: early 2020
This cozy, New Orleans-style bar will be the go-to stop in the Foundry District for barrel-aged cocktails and infused spirits. Per their social media, they're currently renovating their space on Weisenberger Street, but more details on this novelty bar will come soon.
Blackland Distillery

Opened in March
Blackland operates in a near 5,000-square-foot space that features a tasting room for vodka, gin and whiskey. Their luxury liquors are decked out in gorgeous packaging and are served in a gorgeous cocktail lounge to boot. It’s a modern, high-end distillery that incorporates high-tech hardware to craft products they started selling in several North Texas stores earlier this year.
Clay Pigeon Food & Drink

Piattello Italian Kitchen Owner Marcus Paslay opened Clay Pigeon in 2013 with the goal of founding a fine dining establishment while maintaining a casual atmosphere. A variety of gourmet dishes are available, including duck confit flatbread, mussels and garlic lamb chop — oh, and don't forget about half-off bottles of wine on Mondays. Clay Pigeon also has a well lit patio ideal for cocktails, appetizers and after-dinner drinks.
