Another brand in Chef Jon Bonnell’s Restaurant Group will set up shop downtown next door to Circle Theatre on Throckmorton Street.
Later this month, Buffalo Bros is expected to open its second location. Like the first location, just across from TCU campus on South University Drive, it's a casual sports bar, and will include nearly 100 flat screens.
Signage is up and staff is being hired and trained for a targeted July 20 opening. Permitting, inspections and construction delays are par for the course, Bonnell says.
"The space is double the size of the original with a massive bar in the middle and 54 beers on tap," he says. "The menu will stick with our original store and feature pizza, wings, and subs made fresh from scratch in house."
In 2016, Bonnell first moved his Waters Bonnell's Coastal Cuisine (the fine dining seafood restaurant) from its original location in Crockett Row to a coveted spot in Sundance Square.
