Every August, DFW Restaurant Week turns North Texas into a culinary celebration with a cause, where each bite helps build something far more meaningful than just a great meal. Now in its 29th year, the region’s most anticipated dining event returns with a Preview Weekend from July 31 to August 3, followed by a full run through August 31, and Fort Worth is showing up in force.
This year, 37 Tarrant County restaurants will offer specially curated, multi-course prix fixe menus, with 20 percent of each meal benefiting Lena Pope, the Fort Worth-based nonprofit that’s spent 95 years supporting local children and families through education, counseling, and behavioral health services.
Since 1998, Restaurant Week has raised more than $3.2 million for Lena Pope. In 2024 alone, the event generated over $209,000 in funds that positively impacted the lives of more than 52,000 people across Tarrant County.
From the mesquite-grilled ribeye at Bonnell’s to the warm, house-made tortillas at Don Artemio, Restaurant Week is a tour of Tarrant County’s finest — and most generous — kitchens. Fort Worth favorites like Ellerbe Fine Foods, Wicked Butcher, Quince, and Rise Soufflé are among the top draws, alongside culinary gems in Arlington, Roanoke, Grapevine, and beyond.
