Last week, I spoke briefly about the opportunity to tell you about some of the people behind the scenes that have worked so hard to get the inaugural Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival off the ground. There have been quite a few individuals that have spent countless hours working on this tremendous project.
I am going to begin with a couple who have dedicated hours upon hours of their time as well as their company's' resources to help with the festival. Amber & BJ Caldwell own and operate Anchor Marketing & Design. I developed a relationship with them just as the festival ideas we beginning and they were extremely supportive of the vision from the first day. They created the first logo that we used in less than an hour when it became apparent that people may actually visit the festival’s Facebook page and I realized in a panic that it needed a lot of work to appear credible. They have been involved in any and all of the creative and branding ideas of the festival as well as the construction of the current website. Anchor has overseen the implementation and development of all of our social media platforms as well. We are now active on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Vine. They were instrumental in the success of “Twenty at the Tower” this summer. The fantastic thing about Amber & BJ is that there is no task to great or small for them. At the moment that I am writing this, I have traded several emails with both of them. The amazing thing is…..they are currently on vacation in the Grand Cayman, but still make time to make sure that the wheels of progress don’t stop moving. They have lent a hand during every step of this journey and for that, I will be eternally grateful.
The main reason that they have been so hard at work during their vacation is….drum roll…..tickets went on sale on Monday, Nov. 4! That's right, you can visit the resigned website (built by Anchor) and purchase tickets for the signature events of the inaugural Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival now!! Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell your boss. I don't care who you tell, just tell someone. Until next week, Cheers!
