Ático
A wide array of tapas will be served at Ático, including some options that will incorporate Spanish flatbread.
Chef Tim Love has announced his latest project: Ático, a tapas bar located at the Springhill Suites by Marriott on the hotel’s rooftop bar.
The 82-seat venue features ornate, Spanish mission-style brick arches, a modern glass roof and large potted plants. Ático overlooks the Fort Worth Stockyards and the city’s skyline, affording views of all of Fort Worth’s landmarks, including TCU’s Amon G. Carter Stadium, Will Rogers Memorial Center, Dickies Arena, and, of course, the Fort Worth Stockyards.
A wide array of tapas will be served, including “José’s Tacos,” crafted with Iberico ham, caviar and gold flakes. More yet, guests will be offered patatas bravas with aioli and ranchero sauce, ham or brisket croquettas and pan con tomate. Some options will also incorporate Spanish flatbread and roasted jalapeño pesto.
Continuing the Spanish theme is the cocktail and wine menu, said to have an emphasis on straightforward “combinados” (mixed drinks), cervezas on draft and a curated selection of Spanish sherry from Anna Warren, VP of Beverage for Love Management. Sip over several Spanish blends, or venture into the cocktail menu with the Blood Orange Sangria, Horchata Old Fashioned and more.
Ático, opening this Friday, has hours set from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to midnight Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
