The Fort Worth pitmaster known for well-received pop-up appearances and catering is bringing the beef to Camp Bowie this week.
Joe Riscky’s Barbeque will be serving up a pop-up lunch this Friday at the office of Rent-a-Frog, 4706 Camp Bowie Boulevard.
Riscky’s will be offering different menus each week. But this week, you can expect brisket, sausage, pork butt and sausage bombs on deck for sandwiches or just the meat alone, plus bags of chips.
Riscky prides himself on his “hands-on approach” to barbecue, starting with tradition and combining that with top-notch meat.
“You have to know where it’s sourced and how it’s raised,” Riscky says on his website. “I use Midwest sourced beef, all natural heritage breed pork and air-chilled all natural poultry.”
Lunch Friday starts at 11 a.m. and goes until sellout or 2 p.m.
