Trinity Coffee House
The space at 2700 Weisenberger St. has experienced a rebirth of sorts since Craftwork Coffee Co. closed in November and Trinity Coffee House opened in the same spot two days later. Now, Trinity is beginning to develop its own identity in The Foundry District as the shop gears up for a grand opening celebration in a couple of weeks.
Starting Friday, Trinity will add beer and wine to its list of offerings, to be served alongside lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso drinks on the menu. Alcoholic beverage selection is something owners Sam and Jennifer Demel are quite at home with — they also own wine bar 38 & Vine next door.
The Demels are currently gearing up for the coffee shop's grand opening on Jan. 23, set to take place between 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., with Sweet Thang Cotton Candy onsite and Gold Ribbon Confections offering cookies. The grand opening will also include the reveal of four new murals by Fort Worth artist Jana Renee, and Trinity will begin serving coffee with its new roaster, Counter Culture.
"From beer and wine to signature drinks, the addition of a new roaster partnership, artist murals, and incredible partnerships and collaborations, Trinity Coffee House is a hub for community and entrepreneurs," Jennifer Demel said in a statement. "The grand opening event will be a perfect way to celebrate and usher in a new year. We are looking forward to toasting to new opportunities with our community and look forward to celebrating with everyone.”
