'Tis the season to plan for that big meal we celebrate every fourth Thursday of November — Thanksgiving. But if you don’t have the time to cook a big meal, let one of the eateries on our list do all of the heavy lifting for you. Just remember to get enough for seconds and definitely same room for dessert.
Head down to the end of Mule Alley with the family this Thanksgiving to experience a four-course dining experience at 97 West inside of the Hotel Drover at 200 Mule Alley Drive. Enjoy the flavors of herb-crusted roasted turkey, decadent lobster mac and cheese, all while topping it off with a piece of classic pecan or pumpkin pie. This year B&B Butchers is offering several meal options that include a whole uncooked brined turkey, a pre-cooked smoked turkey, and your choice of either a whole or half roasted prime rib for your main courses. And don’t forget the sides, which consist of several options served in ½ sheets that feed between 8 to 10 people per serving. Also, the gravy and cranberry sauce are sold by the quart and can serve anywhere from 8 to 10 people as well.
Some of the sides B&B have on the menu this year include Brussel sprouts, candied yams, cornbread and sausage stuffing, and creamed spinach to name a few. For all of you dessert fans, B&B Butcher has whole apple crumble, pecan, and pumpkin pies available to choose from.

Choose from a 12 to 15-pound Creole smoked turkey, or some semi boneless grilled quail, to a whole beef tenderloin served with a red wine demi-glace just to name a few options. This year, The Capital Grill is giving you the choice to eat at their dining room or yours. This marks the seventh year the Taste Community Restaurant will host a Thanksgiving meal. This pay-what-you-can style restaurant is strictly a volunteer-based eatery located in the heart of Downtown Fort Worth at 1200 S. Main Street. The only caveat is that patrons need to RSVP, so none of the food goes to waste. Brunch starts at 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on November 28. Don’t sleep on this place, it has a rep for awesome cuisine and has become a spot for locals to see and be seen.
This restaurant, located in the Sinclair Hotel, has created a Thanksgiving menu that includes such starters as braised tenderloin hummus, steak tartare, and jumbo shrimp cocktail. Some of the mains include turkey roulade, ginger miso Chilean sea bass, and seared salmon. Butcher cuts include a tomahawk steak, bone in filet, and a bone in cowboy ribeye to name a few. Other Thanksgiving specials include butternut squash soup, cornbread stuffing with sausage, sweet potato mash, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and mac & cheese.
