Meyer and Sage
Meyer and Sage just held its first birthday party in October. The Foundry District’s original organic grab-and-go shop and event space by chef Callie Salls has become part of the neighborhood during that time. Yes, that Callie Salls … the one who prepares those endlessly fascinating and colorful grazing boards you’ve coveted on Instagram.
She will now expand her meal service and personal chef options in January, and will begin to offer more diverse and affordable meal delivery packages for busy families.
Meyer and Sage will also have a weekly menu of family-style meals available to reserve and pick up at the store in the Foundry District, Salls says.
“Our menu offers over 40 seasonal items to choose from as well as weekly rotating features,” she says. All new packages and pricing will be available to view on the website in January.
Here’s a preview of some of the family-style meal pick-up options she already has planned:
- Week of Jan. 6: Organic Chicken Tamale Casserole
- Week of Jan. 13: Organic Turkey Sloppy Joe Bake
- Week of Jan. 20: Classic Beef Lasagna Bolognese
- Week of Jan. 27: King Ranch Organic Chicken Casserole
All meals serve about four portions at a cost of $45, which is comparable to the same family of four eating out. Weekly packages will be starting at $100. Meyer & Sage can even accommodate with options for single individuals, large families and more.
Meyer & Sage’s sister business, Linguine & Dirty Martinis, remains and will now be opening weekly slots for families seeking in-home personal chef services through the Meyer & Sage brand. Visit the website for more information and email [email protected] to join the wait list.
Meyer & Sage’s shop offers salads, sandwiches, snack boxes, those stunning grazing boards, jarred items and oven-ready meals ― all packaged in earth-friendly plastics and plant-fiber containers.
The attractive storefront supports local retailers and sells unique gifts and food items too. “We also offer a beautifully curated semi-private dining room for events, demonstration-style cooking classes and workshops,” Salls says.
Sourcing is a key ingredient at Meyer & Sage. They’re proud to be one of the few local food businesses using all organic pastured chicken and turkey; all humanely and sustainably-raised beef, pork and lamb; all wild-caught seafood; and organic pastured eggs. Foodies and health-conscious customers have come to trust them for that very reason.
Salls began her career as a personal chef with her Linguine and Dirty Martini’s brand 12 years ago, which grew into a successful catering and meal delivery service. Then, in October 2018, she put down roots with Meyer & Sage in the Foundry District.
