Florida-based sub chain Jon Smith Subs is finally headed to Fort Worth.
Jon Smith Subs will open its first Fort Worth location at 2812 Horne St., Ste. 100. The grand opening, hosted by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, will take place at 11 a.m. on Aug. 3. The first 50 customers in line by 10:30 a.m. will receive a free 6-inch sub every month for a year, and every other customer will have an opportunity to sample foods. The event will also include entertainment, coupons and giveaways.
The menu includes an array of sirloin steak, marinated grilled chicken, Italian cold cuts, roast beef and other subs, along with various salads and a kid's menu.
The first Jon Smith Subs opened in Palm Beach County, Florida, in 1988. Currently, there are 14 locations across Florida, Nevada and Ohio. The Fort Worth location will be the first to open in the state of Texas, followed by upcoming locations in Southlake and Spring.
The franchise is also about to become a global effort, with plans to soon open in Australia.
