Blackland’s four liquors — vodka, gin, bourbon, and rye whiskey — can now be found on liquor store shelves throughout Fort Worth, Dallas, Denton, and neighboring cities.
Blackland Distillery, which opened earlier this year in the Foundry District, is now casting a wide net with the help of a major food and beverage distributor.
The company announced Tuesday a partnership with Ben E. Keith for North Texas distribution. Blackland’s four liquors — vodka, gin, bourbon, and rye whiskey — can now be found on liquor store shelves throughout Fort Worth, Dallas, Denton, and neighboring cities.
Blackland Distillery is a modern, tech-focused, and high-end distillery complete with a tasting room and a swanky cocktail lounge offering luxury liquors with gorgeous packaging.
The 750 ml bottles will range in price from $25 to $35. The partnership marks a milestone in Ben E. Keith’s 113-year history, as Blackland will be the first gin, bourbon, and whiskey available in Ben E. Keith’s spirits brand portfolio.
“No other food-and-beverage distributor in Texas is as successful or highly respected as Ben E. Keith, and it is an absolute honor to partner with them for our North Texas distribution,” said Markus Kypreos, founder of Blackland Distillery. “Also, the fact that Ben E. Keith chose Blackland Gin, Blackland Bourbon, and Blackland Rye Whiskey as their first gin, bourbon and whiskey brand is a testament to the quality of our product.”
Blackland distills its spirits using high-tech hardware, computerized pot, and column stills, and stainless-steel mash tuns. In addition, all grains used in Blackland spirits are sourced exclusively from Fort Worth-based TexMalt, which partners with local Texas farms to grow, produce, and source high-quality malted grains.
