Grab-and-go meals from Righteous Foods are now available at Tom Thumb.
Righteous Foods opted to keep its dining room closed despite the lifting of stay-at-home orders this weekend. Still, the health-conscious restaurant has found other ways to do business.
Grab-and-go meals from Righteous Foods are now available at Tom Thumb — specifically, the West Seventh Street location just down the street from the restaurant. On the shelves are items like blue algae chia seed pudding, roasted beet hummus with grilled naan, a curried chicken wrap, and a baby kale and pesto salad.
Though its dining room is closed, Righteous Foods is continuing curbside and delivery with extended hours (8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday).
The restaurant explained its decision to remain closed in a Facebook post: "We are doing what’s best for the safety of our employees, guests and the long term success of our business until we gain more assurance. We want to be here for 12 more months or 12 more years not just the next 12 days."
