Kura Revolving Sushi Bar
Fort Worth, brace yourself. There's a new sushi sensation in town that’s ready to roll through your heart — and your taste buds. Get ready for the grand opening of Kura Revolving Sushi Bar at 2700 N Tarrant Pkwy Suite 130, a concept that is set to flip the sushi dining experience on its head with a fresh and innovative approach. On Thursday, Feb. 13th, the curtain rises, and the future of sushi is about to land on your plate.
Kura's arrival is a culinary first for Fort Worth. The revolving sushi bar, the heart and soul of the experience, isn't just a conveyor belt — it's a high-tech marvel where each plate is protected by a patented Mr. Freshᵀᴹ ventilated lid, ensuring your sushi stays as fresh as the moment it’s made. Plates float by like an edible art gallery, and with plate-tracking technology, you know exactly how long each item has been making its rounds. No guesswork here, just pure, unadulterated freshness.
The doors open at 11:30 a.m. sharp, and the first 50 seated dine-in guests each day — Feb. 13th, 14th, and 15th — who show their Kura Sushi Rewards QR code will get a sushi towel, perfect for wiping up after your meal. Additionally, the first 300 guests on Feb. 13th will receive an exclusive Fort Worth commemorative sticker to mark the occasion.
And let's talk price: premium sushi plates start at $3.45, and with a rotating selection, there’s plenty of variety to keep you coming back for more. This is a dining experience where innovation meets indulgence, and you’re right in the middle of it.
Before the grand spectacle of the opening, Kura will be hosting a soft opening starting Monday, Feb.10th, through Wednesday, Feb. 12th, from 12 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It’s a chance to get a taste of what’s coming, with special hours leading up to the official debut.
From Thursday, Feb. 13th onwards, regular business hours will be as follows: Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. You’ve got plenty of chances to join the line and savor the sushi. But remember — Facebook RSVPs won’t get you a seat, so be sure to sign up on the waitlist when you arrive. The app will handle remote waitlists after the grand opening week, making it even easier to join the fun.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar
Kura is an immersive experience that incorporates the Bikkura Pon Prize System. In this gamified twist, every five plates you discard into the disposal slot triggers an animation, and after every fifteen plates, you’ll get a prize from the machine, according to a release. It’s a small token, but it makes the whole dining experience feel like an adventure.
The sushi bar is only the beginning, as the 70-location chain (spanning 20 states) has been serving authentic Japanese cuisine that boasts real ingredients, devoid of artificial preservatives or colorings. It’s a commitment to purity that shines through every bite, something Kura takes seriously.
Founded in 2008 as the U.S. arm of Japan’s Kura Sushi, this brand has over 45 years of expertise in perfecting the revolving sushi experience.
