Thirty-Nine Tarrant County Restaurants Prep for DFW Restaurant Week

Twenty percent of the proceeds from this upcoming event will go to help with programs that affect young children and their families.

For nearly three decades, DFW Restaurant Week has been at the forefront of helping raise funds for local organizations in need.

And this year is no exception.

From August 1 to September 1, thirty-nine Tarrant County restaurants will be participating in a culinary event that will benefit the nonprofit Lena Pope. These restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe dinners that will cost between $49 to $59, with some offering two-course lunch or brunch menus for $29. Twenty percent of the meals purchased at all of these participating restaurants will go to help Lena Pope provide evidence-based and research-tested counseling, education, and behavior intervention programs to local children and families.

Preview Weekend at these 39 restaurants begins on August 1 – 4, followed by the “Main Week,” which kicks off on August 5 – 11, with an optional extension lasting until September 1.

Over the last 26 years, DFW Restaurant Week has provided more than $3 million in proceeds to go towards Lena Pope’s programming. According to a release, DFW Restaurant Week raised a total of $545,128, with $184,925 benefitting Lena Pope last year alone. With 28 years behind this annual event, DFW Restaurant Week is considered North Texas’ largest annual culinary event and the second longest-running restaurant week in the U.S. (behind New York City).

Reservations for 2024 DFW Restaurant Week are being accepted now via OpenTable or by calling the restaurants directly. The 39 Tarrant County restaurants participating in the 2024 DFW Restaurant Week include:
