Twigs American Kitchen
Twigs American Kitchen began unveiling their new, chef-crafted menu in recent weeks. Executive Chef David Lee and his team have introduced lighter dishes, like the new Tuna Tataki lettuce rolls alongside Texas favorites like fresh Gulf Redfish.
Clearfork restaurant Twigs American Kitchen announced it will shut down permanently, citing loss of revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic as reason for closure.
"This crisis created a significant strain on our ability to operate the restaurant during the pandemic with the resulting loss of revenue, for which we have been left no choice," Twigs president Trevor Blackwell wrote in a Facebook post. "We certainly want to thank those of you in the community who supported us."
Twigs originally opened at The Shops at Clearfork as Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar. Last year, it rebranded to Twigs American Kitchen to put more emphasis on its food, which included chef-driven takes on burgers, fish, steak, and other dishes, as well as signature cocktails.
Twigs' second location at Grandscape in The Colony will remain open.
"The Shops at Clearfork is an amazing place with a great future ahead," Blackwell wrote. "It saddens us that we will not be a part of the growth and be able to build upon the great relationships that we have begun."
