Twigs American Kitchen
Twigs American Kitchen began unveiling their new, chef-crafted menu in recent weeks. Executive Chef David Lee and his team have introduced lighter dishes, like the new Tuna Tataki lettuce rolls alongside Texas favorites like fresh Gulf Redfish.
Twigs Martini Bar in the Shops at Clearfork has a new name and a new attitude. The popular eatery and cocktail lounge recently underwent a slight rebrand, now known as Twigs American Kitchen.
The martinis are still a highlight on the cocktail menu, but the restaurant at 5289 Marathon Ave. wants to emphasize that they're also a scratch kitchen. They say they’re constantly listening to the public, creating dishes and making changes based off of that feedback.
Many in Fort Worth have thought of Twigs as just a martini bar since it first made a splash in December 2017, so the rebrand aims to show Twigs in a new light. It focuses attention on the rest of the menu, incorporating family-friendly, “all are welcome” vibe.
Opened by veteran restaurateur Trevor Blackwell, Twigs enhanced the restaurant by adding new dishes to the menu and improving the dining and patio space to deliver a livelier atmosphere.
“Over the past year and a half, we’ve learned what our guests in Fort Worth really want, and I think we’ve created something special,” Blackwell says. “We strive to be constantly evolving as a business and as a restaurant.”

Using simple, local ingredients, Twigs added other new dishes, including Roasted Curry Cauliflower and Beef Brisket Flatbread.
Their full-service bar boasts an expanded cocktail menu featuring seasonal mules like the BSB Mule with Heritage Distilling Brown Sugar Bourbon, muddle orange and apple cider, and scratch-made Jalapeño Cilantro margaritas.
Inside the restaurant, Twigs focused on modernizing their space while maintaining cozy corners and comfortable atmosphere customers have enjoyed. The updated elements include contemporary light fixtures, walnut wood paneling and a brighter outdoor patio space, decorated with greenery and string lights for a feeling of warmth and relaxation.
