Louis Lortie, esteemed French-Canadian classical pianist, has built his reputation for more than 30 years playing with distinguished orchestras on five continents.
The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth welcomes the return of Louis Lortie, acclaimed international pianist, to the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The CMSFW Ensemble also features returning veteran virtuosos Gary Levinson, violin and CMSFW artistic director; Michael Klotz, viola; and Inbal Segev, cello. Asi Matathias, violin, joins the quintet in his CMSFW debut.

Gabriel Fauré — Piano Trio in D Minor, Op. 120
Camille Saint-Saëns — Piano Trio No. 1 in F Major, Op. 18
Antonín Dvořák — Piano Quintet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 81
The Pre-Concert Conversation starts at 1:15 p.m. Gary Levinson adds context and insight to the repertoire’s composers and music.
The concert begins at 2 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or at the door. Admission is $45 for general admission, $40 for seniors and $10 for students.
