Timeless Concerts performers, L-R cellist Alice Lee, violinists Keyreel Raskolenko and LeeAnne Chenoweth, soprano Youna Hartgraves, tenor Sergio Cepeda and pianist Heejung Kang.
Many have enjoyed the immersive art exhibits of artists Van Gogh and Monet, walking through masterworks projected onto walls and ceilings. What music would have been popular in 1889 when Van Gogh painted his famous "Starry Night" or when Monet painted his "Water Lily Pond" in 1899? During those years, Claude Debussy was the most famous composer in France. We will perform his Trio in G Major for piano violin and cello, as well as works by Ravel, Bizet, and a bit of jazz by Claude Bolling. Performers: Violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, cellist Alice Jeong-A Lee, pianists Heejung Kang and Simon Petty, soprano Youna Hartgraves, and tenor Sergio Cepeda. $40-15. Choose May 3 in Arlington or May 10 in Ft. Worth, both Saturdays 8 pm. Stay for the reception after the hour long concert! Complimentary wine/soft drinks/snacks.
