Meet author Amy Martin and learn what she discovered while writing her book, "Wild DFW: Explore the Amazing Nature Around Dallas-Fort Worth."
The book features facts, philosophy, history and personal insights relating to the rare prairies, diverse bottomland forests, limestone escarpments and more with the Trinity River running through it. More than 30 detailed maps and more than 350 detailed photographs accompany the text. Besides the physical features of the region, the book includes a field guide detailing more than 120 species of interesting animals, insects, plants and fungi.
After Martin’s presentation, participants will have the chance to questions and also purchase copies of her book to be signed.
