The event will feature 205 vendor tables including Lionel, MTH, Williams, K-Line, Atlas model trains of all gauges and Woodland Scenics Ready Built Buildings both new and pre-owned along with kid’s toys and accessories will be available at the train show.

The Lone Star Hi-Railers model railroad club of Grapevine, Texas is hosting the 11th annual model train show, Train-A-Palooza, at the Grapevine Convention Center (1208 S. Main St.) on March 8-9, 2025.

The event will feature 205 vendor tables including Lionel, MTH, Williams, K-Line, Atlas model trains of all gauges and Woodland Scenics Ready Built Buildings both new and pre-owned along with kid’s toys and accessories will be available at the train show.

Working train layouts will be provided by:

TCA North Texas Chapter (O gauge Thomas the train layout)

North Texas T-Track (N gauge)

North Texas Brick Society (Lego layout)

Texas Special (O gauge layout)

On30 Outlaws (O gauge layout)

Custom layout by Merle Wait (O gauge layout)

DFW O Scale Modelers (O gauge layout)

Tickets will cost $10 for adults, $2 for children ages 11 to 18 and free for children under 10. Admission will provide access to the train show and to the Lone Star Hi-Railers huge three-rail O gauge model railroad layout inside an actual 65 foot-long baggage car, located in the historic Grapevine railyard area.

Show hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
