Come celebrate Black History Month! Learn about prominent African Royalty and create a beautiful work of art through the use of different mediums inspired by the selected African royals. The history of African royalty includes famous names like: Mansa Musa, Queen Nefertiti and King Shaka Zulu. While many of these monarchies fell after the Europeans colonized the continent, some, like Morocco's, continue to this day.

As part of the cultural fiber of Fort Worth, your library creates spaces and opportunities for conversations and exploration. We created this cultural program specifically for adults.
