As the summer season approaches, Gaylord Texan Resort is excited to welcome locals and travelers to experience their 19th annual SummerFest celebration, featuring Pirate & Princess-themed activities. The world-class property features a 10-acre outdoor water park, multiple sparkling resort pools, four-and-a-half acres of sprawling indoor gardens, a delicious line-up of culinary offerings, soothing spa treatments, exciting live entertainment, and an itinerary full of friendly-family events and activities.
In addition to the adventures inside, hotel guests can make a splash at Paradise Springs, the resort's 10-acre outdoor waterpark. Adults can grab a cocktail and tube down the relaxing 600-foot-long lazy river while kids play in a giant water treehouse, glide down four winding waterslides, and splash around in the 6,000-square-foot family lagoon. The pool comes alive each weekend with a live DJ, hair braiding, airbrush tattoos, and more. Private cabanas are also available for rent, providing extra shade, soft seating, TVs, and refrigerators.
