Texas Women's Foundation (TXWF) is excited to present the first of a four-part series of Virtual Viewpoints (Zoom Online) that will focus on the four essentials to a woman and her family's economic security: child care, housing, health care and education. The first is about child care. The positive long-term impacts of high-quality child care are beneficial for children, the economy and working parents – especially working mothers. During these unprecedented times with families staying at home, many child care centers are struggling to stay open.
Join TXWF as we talk with experts in the child care industry about the challenges they face as they continue providing this critical work support for families who are essential workers in our community, and how we can make sure all children are equipped with accessible quality child care. Moderator: Dena L. Jackson, Ph.D., Texas Women’s Foundation Chief Operating Officer
Panelists include Vickie Allen, MPA, Educational First Steps Executive Director, and Muriel Webb, Braswell Child Development Center Founding Director. Learn more at https://www.txwf.org/events/viewpoints/
