Trinity Metro
Annett Landeros will take on her new duties beginning December 13.
It only makes sense that someone who’s spent 12 years with the U.S. Department of Transportation would be a good fit for Trinity Metro, especially considering its new expansion plans.
Add a five-year stint as president and CEO of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and you begin to scratch the surface of the many skills and know-how that Anette Landeros brings to her new role as Trinity Metro’s new chief strategy officer.
In this newly created position, Landeros will help oversee the development and strategies that support Trinity Metro’s immediate and long-term goals, with a focus on innovation, stategic partnerships, and community impact.
Landeros will take on her new duties beginning December 13.
Her arrival at Trinity Metro couldn’t have been better timed given the agency’s many services and new initiatives including its new Orange Line, and already established TEXRail, Trinity Railway Express – all of which are breaking ridership expectations.
“As we continue to set new records with TEXRail and Trinity Railway Express ridership and see rapid growth in the popularity of the Orange Line, this is the perfect time to bring Anette on board,” said Rich Andreski, president and CEO of Trinity Metro. “Anette has an incredible understanding of the Fort Worth community and transportation. Her leadership will be instrumental in shaping our strategic initiatives and driving forward-thinking solutions for the future.”
Under Landeros' strategic leadership, Trinity Metro stands ready to sustain its rapid growth, capitalizing on existing successes while paving the way for ground-breaking new initiatives.
“I am honored to step into this role at such an exciting time for Trinity Metro,” Landeros said in a statement. “Transportation is the backbone of opportunity, and Trinity Metro is leading the way in creating a connected, vibrant future for our region. I look forward to helping the agency reach new milestones and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional services that benefit our entire community.”
Jeff Davis, Chairman of the Board for Trinity Metro, expressed his enthusiasm regarding Landeros’ appointment: “Trinity Metro has built a culture of integrity and excellence under Rich Andreski’s leadership. Anette is a fantastic addition to the very capable Trinity Metro leadership team and will bring her unique perspective and talents to expand public transportation throughout Tarrant County.”
Trinity Metro currently offers transportation connections throughout the North Central Texas region, which includes rides on buses, Trinity Metro TEXRail, Trinity Metro On-Demand rideshare services, Fort Worth Bike Sharing, vanpools, and Trinity Railway Express. Also, there’s the TRE, a 34-mile commuter rail line jointly owned and operated by Trinity Metro and DART, which operates between Fort Worth and Dallas.
Trinity Metro is also the sole owner and operator of Trinity Metro TEXRail, a 27-mile commuter rail line that runs between downtown Fort Worth and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport’s Terminal B.
Although this announcement is an exciting one for Trinity Metro, it also marks a bittersweet parting of ways for Landeros, who’s spent many years of community-building and non-profit service through her role at the Hispanic chamber.
“It has been an honor to serve this incredible organization and the dynamic community of businesses that make up the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,” Landeros said. “Together, we have accomplished so much, and I am grateful for the relationships, partnerships, and growth we have achieved. While it is bittersweet to move on, I am excited to continue serving Fort Worth in this new role at Trinity Metro.”
