In a show of support for local businesses, Q Car Wash will be providing free car washes to customers eating at local restaurants from April 27 to April 30.
Customers must bring either a receipt or to-go bag from a local restaurant as proof in order to get a free car wash.
“As local businesses, organizations, and even entire industries across the region suffer dramatic closures and losses because of COVID-19, it’s more important than ever for our local community to band together to lend a helping hand to those in need during this great time of uncertainty,” Viran Nana, owner and CEO of Q Car Wash, said in a statement.
Q Car Wash is also donating $3 to the Tarrant Area Food Bank for every car that comes through the wash. The company’s goal is to raise $20,000, which would provide 100,000 meals to those struggling with food insecurity.
As a part of the company’s “Support Local Business” week, all five Q Car Wash and Q Speedwash locations, including three locations in Fort Worth, one in Grand Prairie, and one in Benbrook, will be participating in the two initiatives.
“Providing free car washes, encouraging customers to support local restaurants, and donating cash to our local food bank will certainly not solve the larger issue at hand, but it will hopefully inspire others to support local business and do what they can to give back to the community,” Nana said.
