Fort Worth Chamber
Angela Hall
The Fort Worth Chamber has appointed Angela Hall to the position of vice president for marketing, events, and communications, Chamber officials announced in a press release on Tuesday.
In the role, Hall will be tasked with the responsibility for oversight and execution of all internal and external communications and marketing strategies.
"Angela has been on the FWC radar for a long time," said FWC President and CEO Steve Montgomery in a statement. "She’s been a small business owner here in Fort Worth, an entrepreneur, and the community marketing, communications, and local events manager for some of our largest property development members. When we learned she might be available for this position, the wheels started turning immediately.”
Most recently, Hall served as marketing manager at Slalom Consulting, where she functioned as marketing lead for all Fort Worth client activity and community engagement. Hall also held positions as director of marketing at both Vestar and Trademark Property Company — known locally for their West 7th and Waterside developments. She also served as account manager in marketing and communications at Southwestern Health Resources.
Hall earned a BBA in marketing from UT Arlington and a master’s in entrepreneurship from SMU. She has been involved with organizations such as the Cultural District Alliance and SteerFW, a nonpartisan organization that identifies and supports emerging leaders and builds their civic engagement. In 2015, Hall was a Fort Worth Business Press 40 Under 40 honoree.
In her new position, Hall’s responsibilities include developing a cohesive branding strategy and driving FWC activity and resource awareness through public relations and marketing initiatives, member communications, and event planning and management.
She will work closely with the FWC’s executive leadership team while cultivating relationships with local stakeholders and media representatives.
“I've had a long relationship with the Chamber as a member and as community liaison for member organizations,” said Hall. “When Steve shared his vision of the future with me and asked me to come on board to help implement it, it was such an honor. This position allows me to leverage all my skills and experience in support of the community that I love.”
