Chef Keith "Buttons" Hicks and the Buttons Restaurant management team have joined forces with local residents and businessmen, Terrence and Tim Maiden to launch a new dining concept: Buttons Place-Family, Food & Fun. Featuring a casual atmosphere and affordable cuisines, this new family-friendly restaurant is expected to become a premier "home away from home" for residents of the surrounding community. Located in the DeSoto Town Center, Buttons Place is set to open on Monday, May 14, 2012.
"We are extremely excited about the launch of Buttons Place and our new partnership with twin brothers and businessmen, Terrence and Tim Maiden," said Herbert Hughes, President of the Buttons restaurant chain. "The DeSoto community has spoken and we have listened by creating a venue where all residents can feel welcome to "come as they are" and enjoy affordable meals in a warm and casual environment."
A concept that combines the love of food with the love of family, Buttons Place provides a comfortable dining experience that caters to an array of interests. From date night and girls night outs to sport watching parties and family gatherings, there is sure to be something for every preference and taste. Speaking of taste, Chef Keith "Buttons" Hicks has created a delectable menu offering that combines new entrees and appetizers with his signature southern- dishes to include burgers, sandwiches, steaks, seafood and Buttons famous Chicken & Waffles. Additionally, the new management team and staff at Buttons Place have a commitment to exceptional customer service and understand that it is through good people and exceptional service that great dining experiences are created.
"Through Buttons Place we are continuing our movement and vision of building a house of love, where everyone can feel welcome to come together, unwind and feed their soul with great home cooking, "said Chef Keith "Buttons" Hicks.
Located in the space formerly occupied by the Jazz Café, Buttons Place has been remodeled with a new color palette and artwork that portrays deeply-rooted Southern family values and traditions. The new lighting, expanded seating and overhead music classics create an open and welcoming environment that's certain to make guests both young and old, feel the comforts of "home." The stage formerly used for live performances, has been replaced with a communal bar and additional seating making it convenient for those patrons wanting to stop in for a quick bite and cocktail. In addition, every seat is the best seat in the house with eight flat screen TV's that can be viewed from every angle of the restaurant. Patio seating, special event catering, space for private parties, and gift cards are also available.
"As Dallas-natives and local residents, Tim and I, wanted to be part of the new Buttons Place concept to ensure it catered to both the short and long-term needs of this community," said Terrence Maiden, local real estate developer and investor in Buttons Place. "We are ecstatic about the restaurant's focus on "family, food, and fun" and believe it better suits the lifestyle of the businesses and people that reside in this area."
