"The PawPad” will offer daycare and boarding services for both dogs and cats in a more than 6,000 square-foot facility. The space will be able to accommodate up to 100 four-legged guests and will offer more than a half acre of outdoor space.
Summer may be coming to an end for us humans, but for Fort Worth’s four-legged friends, the vacation continues with a new pet resort opening in The River District.
Located at 5201 White Settlement Road, PawPad — owned by grooming service Glamour Paws — will offer luxury grooming and boarding services starting Sept. 5, when it will host a small grand opening event that will enforce social distancing guidelines.
Originally set to open in March but pushed back due to COVID-19, The River District’s newest addition will be a 6,000-square-foot building built to accommodate 100 dogs and 18 cats.
The space will feature a large indoor/outdoor play area for all pets to socialize and get in their daily exercise. Pet parents will also be able to purchase one-on-one time with the boarding staff as an add-on to their lodging package, as well as training.
Day care prices start at $25 that can be purchased in packages, and boarding starts at $35 and increases by dog size. PawPad will be open on holidays; however those prices have not yet been determined.
